Losing a receipt can be a pain, especially for valuable items. Our latest mobile app feature lets you capture an image of your receipts and store them in one secure and searchable library. Handy if you need to return anything, complete a tax return, claim expenses or keep as your guarantee.
Mobile App available to Online Banking customers with a UK or international mobile number in specific countries. This service is available to Premier & Business Banking customers only. Available on iOS (9 and above) and Android (4.4 and above).

How to use Receipts

Capture – photograph your receipt using your smartphone camera

Store – keep essential information about your purchases digitally (type, merchant, VAT, total, date and more).

Find - search receipts by item, currency, category, payment method or date range.

Share – create reports in Excel, CSV or PDF format and share with your bookkeeper or accountant.

Email - forward your e-receipts to your registered email address in the app.

Once you're set up and ready to go, you'll be able to register to use Receipts.

Watch Receipts in action

  1. Log in to the NatWest Mobile App, navigate to ‘Manage Receipts’
  2. Select ‘Capture Receipt’
  3. On first use you will be asked to allow access to the camera, this will allow the app to take a picture of the receipt
  4. The app will try to capture the receipt using 'automatic' mode, the blue area shows where it thinks the receipt is. You can also switch to 'manual' mode to capture your receipt
  5. Once the picture has been taken, you will be presented with a preview
  6. Next you'll see the information captured from the receipt digitally, this information can be edited if required

 

No, you will need to hold on to your paper receipts as a form of back-up. 

  1. For very long receipts, it's best to be in 'Manual' camera mode otherwise the receipt may be too far away from the camera to take a clear image with legible text:
  2. Take an image of the top part of the receipt in 'Manual' mode.
  3. Tap on 'Add Section' in the following screen.
  4. You'll see the first section of the receipt at the top of the screen. Now line up the next section of the receipt so that it matches and joins up with the first image.
  5. Tap on the circular capture button at the bottom of the screen get the image of the next section.
  6. Make sure they are seamlessly stitched together by sliding the previous image capture over the new capture to meet where the previous image ended.

Yes, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the NatWest Mobile App
  2. Select the account you made the payment from and go to ‘View transactions’
  3. Select the transaction you would like to attach your receipt to
  4. Select ‘Capture receipt’ under the Attachment title top right of the page
  5. Capture the receipt using the skills you previously learned in the Capture guide
  6. You will now have the ability to view the receipt for this transaction

 

  1. Log in to the NatWest Mobile App, navigate to ‘Manage Receipts’
  2. Select the receipt you would like to view from your captured receipts
  3. You can switch between original receipt which is the photo or enhanced receipt which is your digital receipt
  1. Log in to the NatWest Mobile App, navigate to ‘Manage Receipts’
  2. Click on ‘Receipts’ at the top of your screen
  3. Click on the ‘Select’ button and then select those you would like to export
  4. Click on ‘Export’ at the bottom of your screen, you will be asked what format you'd like
  5. You can send your exported list to yourself

If you’re not connected to the internet your receipt may not have been sent to our servers yet.

If you are connected to the internet and still unable to find your receipt, then try the following:

Spell the entire word. Partial name matches do not always work when searching for receipts.

Turn off all filters otherwise the receipt you're looking for may be hidden because of a filter

The receipt list only shows the most recent receipts, scroll down to retrieve older receipts

Check the 'Notification Centre' for any recently added receipts or receipts that need attention. This may give a quick link to your receipt

  2. Select ‘Manage Receipts’ at the top of your Account Summary screen
  3. View the Terms and Conditions then either Accept or Cancel
  4. Create a password

You're ready to start capturing Receipts.

Sensibill ("Receipts") Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

a. Prize draw is open to NatWest Premier customers who are UK residents (Northern Ireland customers are excluded). Draw is not open to employees of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group of companies, their families or anyone associated with this draw.

b. Multiple entries per person. Every time you add a receipt using Sensibill on the mobile banking app you will be entered into the prize draw. Entries must be submitted by using Sensibill feature on the mobile banking app from the period 00:00 on 18 September 2018 till 23:59 on 21 October 2018.

c. Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will be disqualified.

d. The winner will be drawn at random on 24 October 2018 and awarded prizes in the order in which they are drawn are as follows: two NatWest customers will receive a Silver iPhone X, 64GB. The prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is available. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

e. The winner will be informed by email within 5 days of the closing date, when information about the winner will be available by sending a SAE to "Sensibill Prize draw Winner List" at Marketing Department, RBS Gogarburn EH12 1HQ.

f.  If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner the promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.

g. The promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.

h. The promoter is NatWest Bank, 135 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3UR.
