Worldwide Airport Lounge Access

DragonPass Premier gives you unlimited access to over 1,000 lounges worldwide, plus you can enjoy discounts at airport restaurants, cafes and spas. Many lounges can now be pre-booked for just £5 per person per visit to avoid disappointment during busy travel times. You can also bring travel guests (£20 per person).

We’ll automatically send you a DragonPass Premier membership card when you open or upgrade to a Premier Reward Black account.

You will need your membership card to gain access to lounges and receive discounts at spas and restaurants. A digital version of your membership card is also available through the dedicated DragonPass Premier app which is free to download from the Apple App and Google Play store. The app provides full details about your benefits including lounge locations and opening times, and the ability to purchase guest visits and pre-book selected lounges.

If you have a joint account and are travelling with the other account holder, you will both need to show you membership cards, either the plastic version or through the app, to access lounges and receive discounts.

Airport lounges are owned and operated independently of DragonPass. Admission is granted subject to capacity and at the discretion of the lounges.

Worldwide Travel Insurance

Love travel? Our worldwide travel insurance covers you and your family for trips up to 90 days, including 31 days for winter sports. The policy also has £10 million medical expenses cover (underwritten by U K Insurance Ltd).

Family cover includes you and your partner, plus any dependent children aged under 18 at the start of the journey, (under 23 if they’re in full-time education). Children must be living at the home address (or with the other parent), and be neither married or in a Civil Partnership

Your partner is the person the account holder lives with at the same home address in a relationship, whether married or cohabiting

Medical conditions

If you have a new or existing medical condition please visit membership services. You may have to pay extra for this or you may find that your condition cannot be covered. 

If anyone covered by this policy is aged 70 or over, you must call us each year to obtain cover. You will need to pay an annual premium of £75 per person insured aged 70 or over and be medically screened.

How do I earn Rewards?

You’ll earn 2% on eligible household bills paid by Direct Debit and at least 1% at our partner retailers.

What you should know

Payments to billing organisations which are for other services such as maintenance, repairs or insurance will not earn Rewards.

How do I exchange Rewards?

It’s easy. Once your balance is the equivalent of £5, we’ll give you a choice of what you can do with them. You can bank them, trade them or donate them to one of our chosen charities.

Once you have opened your Reward bank account you can set up a MyRewards account. This is where your Rewards are automatically stored. It’s also where you go to check your personalised offers or your Rewards balance. 5.00 Rewards = £5. Once it’s the equivalent of £5 or more, you can choose any of the following:

Convert your rewards into money by simply transferring it into your NatWest bank account. It takes 5 days to clear into your chosen account.

Trade up

Exchange your Rewards for gift cards or codes at our selected partner retailers.

Mobile Phone Insurance

Many of us run our lives on our mobiles. Our mobile phone policy covers loss, theft, accidental damage and breakdown (once your warranty has expired). Policy underwritten by Aviva Insurance Limited.

What you need to know about our Mobile Phone Insurance cover:

Covers the phone used on a daily basis by you, your partner and/or your children under 18 years old who live at home with you (under 23 years old if they are still in full time education and living at home with you outside term time). 

There is no cover for phones owned by your employer.

Four successful claims can be made on this policy in any 12 month period.

Our replacement phones are refurbished handsets in ‘as new’ condition using genuine manufacturer parts.

There is a £100 excess for each successful claim.

UK & European car breakdown cover

Green Flag provide our UK & European Breakdown cover which includes returning you and your vehicle to your home address in the UK. We’ll give you options to get you to your destination if your vehicle can’t be fixed (Underwritten by U K Insurance Limited).

What you need to know about UK & European car breakdown cover:

Includes Home call when your car won’t start at home;

Roadside assistance, anywhere in the UK and Europe;

For European trips outside the UK, cover only applies for vehicles less than 16 years old at the start of the trip;

There is no vehicle age limit for UK journeys;

The cover is for all vehicles owned by you and registered at your home address. You are also covered in any privately registered vehicle you travel in, anywhere in the UK.

Anyone driving or travelling in the vehicle owned by you is covered too;

Limited to 5 callouts in any 12 months; and

Doesn't cover any repair costs once the insured vehicle has been transported to a garage or repairer.

Home Emergency Service

24/7 home emergency cover up to £750 including VAT (underwritten by U K Insurance Limited). We only use approved repairers – finding someone you can count on.

Home Emergency Service in detail

Cover for two homes – your main residence and any second you own in the UK (excluding properties you rent out).

To be covered the home must be owned by you and be your permanent, or secondary, private place of residence. Detached garages and outbuildings are not covered. Your home must be in the United Kingdom or the Isle of Wight.

Other exclusions:

External water supply pipes;

Boilers over 10 years old, or with an output over 75kw;

Any emergency if your home has been unoccupied for more than 60 consecutive days

Detached garages and outbuildings; and

Homes in Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man.

It's important to remember that this is not a household buildings or contents insurance policy, or an equipment maintenance contract.

An Arranged Overdraft is a short-term way to borrow and can be a really useful way to pay for unexpected bills. An Arranged Overdraft means we’ve approved extra funds for you, which are available on your current account.                        

What you should know

You can arrange an overdraft with this bank account. We will only charge you interest and/or fees if you use your Arranged Overdraft. Subject to eligibility.

How much will I get?

It depends. We’ll look at your individual circumstances and decide on your overdraft limit. We’ll take into account age, earnings and credit rating.  Here’s a representative example, If you get an arranged overdraft limit of £1,200 on your bank account and use all of it, you will be charged arranged overdraft interest at 14.89% EAR (variable) and a monthly usage fee of £6.
