How does approving my transaction in my app work?

If we ask you to approve a transaction when you’re shopping online, there are a few steps you’ll need to follow.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the app / if you have more than one device use the one which has the updated app
If you’ve got your notifications turned on, you can tap the notification to go straight to your app
Otherwise, log in to your app as usual
Tap the ‘Approve a transaction’ tab at the top of the home screen
Then use your face ID, fingerprint or passcode to confirm your identity
Once you’ve done that, you can approve or decline transactions instantly
