A Woman's Worth

A place where women talk finance

Changing the way we speak to women

YouGov research carried out in 2018 revealed that 83% of women feel banks don’t make products easy to understand. We are alarmed by this. We know this needs to change – and fast.

We know we haven’t always got it right when it comes to communicating with our female customers. We’ve come a long way, but there’s more work to do.

Our commitment to you

As part of our ongoing commitment to equality, we’re pledging to change how banks talk to women. To help us achieve this, we will:

  1. 01

Challenge the stereotypes that go hand-in-hand with the financial industry.

  2. 02

Be more representative in-branch and across our communications.

  3. 03

Take care not to use gender-biased language.

A Woman's Worth Collective

Promoting an inclusive financial environment

This unique financial community will allow women to discuss their thoughts when it comes to finance. It is a platform to discuss experiences from an exclusively female perspective.

Let us know how you think we can do better by joining A Woman’s Worth Collective.

Bridging the gender investment gap

We know that women are less likely to invest their money than men. But we also know that when they do, their investments outperform their male counterparts.

A 2018 study by Warwick Business School concluded that Women outperform men at investing by 1.8 per cent. Whilst men take a more speculative approach, female investors have a more long-term perspective.
