Important information about our app's features

It's the little details that matter

We think it's important you understand the features of our app and how they work. Below is some further information on them, so you can see how they could help you bank on the go.

Get Cash

Get Cash has a maximum withdrawal limit of £130 every 24 hours. You can request a maximum of two Get Cash codes every 24 hours. You must have at least £10 in your account. Only one Get Cash code can be provided at a time. Get Cash can be used at any NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland (in Scotland) or Tesco ATM.

 

Fingerprint login

Apple Touch ID is available on selected Apple devices. Android Fingerprint is available on selected Android devices.

 

Paying someone new without a card reader

You can make a maximum of five payments totalling £250 per day. By default payee details will not be saved, however you can choose to save them on the payment summary screen. You must be aged 16 or over. 

 

Pay your contacts

You can make a maximum of 20 payments totalling no more than £250 per day. Pay anyone who has our app or uses the 'Paym' service. You must be aged 16 or over.

 

Cancelling Direct Debits

To cancel a Direct Debit using the mobile app you have until 8:20pm (UK time) on the day the payment is due. At or after 8:20pm (UK time), the payment due on that day will have been taken and we will not be able to retrieve it.

 

Cancelling or amending a standing order

To cancel or amend a standing order from within the app you must give two working days notice.

 

Creating a Travel Plan

You can create one Travel Plan at a time, for a maximum period of 90 days, that includes up to seven countries. Each country needs to be registered individually. The Travel Plan will apply to debit cards only, attached to accounts managed via mobile banking and only in your name. Joint account holders should register separately.

 

Managing Receipts (business customers only)

Available to Business Banking customers only. Available on iOS 9 or above for Apple devices and Android 4.4 and above for Android devices.
