The Claims Process

Let us help you make a car insurance claim

It's important you make your car insurance claim as soon as possible after the incident has occurred or been discovered.

Step 1: Ideally have your Insurance Policy reference number ready, don't worry if you can't find it though. It just makes the process a little quicker!

Step 2: Call the NatWest Insurance Team, we're here to help! We will register your claim straight away and answer any queries you may have and take you through the whole process. We have a 24 hour emergency helpline available to our customers.

Please Note: If you’re claiming for something that has been stolen or vandalised, you should always report the incident to the police and gain a reference number for the Crime

To find out the progress of your existing car insurance claim, just call our Insurance Team.

To make the process quicker, you will have been given a claim reference number when you first made the claim. To save time you should have this or your policy number to hand to help us locate your insurance claim in the process as quickly as possible.
