Going the extra mile

For customers who don’t have easy access to a permanent branch, our mobile branches carry out a range of personal banking services. From cashing cheques and making deposits, to paying bills and general account and product enquiries.

So when Helen and Sandra, who work in our Brigg branch, heard that the mobile branch ‘Byron’ had a punctured tyre and wouldn’t make it to Barton-on-Humber, they hopped in the car to make sure that customers weren’t left stranded.

Under a NatWest umbrella in a pub car park, armed with their till stamps, they served everyone who needed help. Banking al fresco isn’t perfect, but isn’t it up to us to be prepared to go that extra mile?
