Viewing and searching transactions

How to view and search for transactions

It’s now easier than ever to see, at a glance, where you’ve been spending your money – especially if you do this digitally. But there are other ways to do this too, so we’ll leave it up to you.

The mobile app

Your step-by-step guide:

    Log in to the mobile app

  2. 02

    Click into the account you want to look at more closely and tap 'My transactions'. Here you’ll see a list of all your recent and pending transactions

  3. 03

    You also have two options for searching your transactions.

    • With the first option you can tap the calendar icon which will allow you to search through up to 12 months of transaction history
    • The second option is to tap the magnifying glass icon which will allow you to search for a specific transaction by name

Access to Online Banking

You can view and search your transactions and statements going back
7 years using Online Banking

    Log into Online Banking

  2. 02

    Select 'Statements' from the left-hand menu

  3. 03

    Then from the 'Search for a transaction' section click on 'Search transactions'

  4. 04

    Follow the instructions on your screen

  5. 05

    You can search through your statements by transaction type, date, description or amount

  6. 06

    Use the search options to set what you'd like a copy of, you can then export or print it

  7. 07

    You can select which format to export your transactions to, including Excel and PDF

    When you call us on 03457 888 444 (International  +44 8705 888 444), you’ll be given some options

  2. 02

    Follow the prompts to hear your balance/available funds, recent transactions and search for a transaction

Your NatWest card

Your step-by-step guide

  1. 01

    Head into a branch and bring your NatWest card, we’ll ask you to tap in your PIN and use this as ID

  2. 02

    We can help you find a particular transaction by looking back through your records. We’ll also print it out for you if you’d like a hardcopy
