Dealing with money problems

If you're always entering your overdraft and feel like your debts keep growing, it can be hard to see how you'll be able to pay them off and start putting some money into savings. But the good news is we're here to help.

A good place to start is trying out our Debt Calculator, to help calculate your total current debt before showing you how soon you could pay it off and what the monthly repayments could be. We've got a handy Overdraft Calculator too, to show how an Arranged Overdraft could help you save money.

You could also think about booking a Financial Health Check at your nearest branch, where we'll suggest some easy ways to stay in control of your spending and make bills and overdrafts more manageable.

If you do find yourself struggling financially, don't be tempted to ignore the situation. You can talk to our dedicated teams trained to help, who have lots of experience with financial difficulty. We’ll take time to understand your individual situation and discuss the options available to help you.
