Need Help? - Message us securely

Send us a secure message through your app!

 

We have added a handy new feature to our mobile app. You will now see an option to message us in the ‘need help’ section.

You can use this feature to send us a secure message if you need help.

  • Our team are available from 8am to 6pm, if you message us outside of these hours we’ll get back to you the next day
  • When you send us your message you will be able to see the expected response time
  • We will send you a text to let you know once we have replied to your message

Fingerprint Login

Fingerprint login 

Use fingerprint login on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone? Then you can use it to log into the app.

To set it up, first log into the app with your existing passcode, then click the ‘More’ button at the bottom of the screen. Open the ‘Settings’ menu and that’s where you’ll find the option to enable fingerprint login.

Important information


Apple Touch ID is available on selected Apple devices. Android Fingerprint is available on selected Android devices. Once you're using the latest version of the app, go to the 'More' menu to enable this option.

 

 

View transaction details

View your transaction details

Don't recognise a payment on your transaction list? Tap it to learn more.

We have recently improved the amount of information displayed within our app to help you keep track of your account.

Tap on your transaction to show additional details such as;

  • The name of the company
  • The date of the transaction
  • How the payment was made e.g. contactless
  • The last 4 digits of the card used to make the payment

If you are still unsure about the payment then tap 'Find out more' to visit our Transaction Support Zone.

If you don't recognise a payment on your statement it could be because the company you have made a payment to may have a different trading name from the one you expect.

Register your travel plans

Register your travel plans with us

Just let us know 24 hours before you set off. You can create one travel plan at a time, for a maximum period of 90 days, that includes up to seven countries.

The travel plan will apply to the debit card in your name only - joint account holders should register separately through their own app.

It's simple to do this;

  • Select the 'More' menu
  • Tap 'Going Abroad'
  • Tap 'Add Destination'

Holiday planning is a hugely exciting time, and good planning will make sure you can relax and enjoy when you’re there.

Send international payments

Send international payments

Send money abroad from our mobile app

You can now send international payments with your mobile app in a few simple steps, without having to login to Online Banking or visit a branch.

 

  1. Tap 'International payments' on your Account Summary screen
  2. Choose an existing payee from your list
  3. Enter an amount, select delivery payment speed and allocate fees
  4. Check the details and when you're happy, confirm the payment

Pay someone new

Pay someone new

No need for a card reader - pay up to £250 quickly and easily.

You can pay up to £250 to anyone - all you need is their account number and sortcode. There's no need to have paid them previously, or for the payee to bank with NatWest. Ideal for when you need to split the bill after a meal out with friends.

 

Choose the account you'd like to pay from and press 'Payments', then press 'Pay someone new'. If formal confirmation is needed, you can share a PDF payment confirmation via email, save to your phone, or print directly from the app.

Important information

Payment details will not be saved. You must have available funds to send from your account (including any overdraft facility). You can make a maximum of 5 payments totalling £250 per working day, which is seperate from your daily withdrawal and Get Cash limits.

 

For security reasons, the first time you use a feature that allows money to leave your account from within the app, you will be asked to confirm a second activation code.
