How to apply for a NatWest mortgage

Know what you're looking for? You can get an agreement in principle online and thereafter decide if you wish to apply in branch, by phone or online. For an Interest Only Mortgage, speak to your Private Banking Manager.

For mortgages over £500,000 you will be assigned your own personal Concierge Manager, as your dedicated point of contact. From the moment you apply, to the first direct debit. They will be on hand, every step of the way.

Apply online if you are comfortable in choosing a mortgage without advice from us.

You won’t benefit from the protection provided by our advised service.

You cannot apply for a Help to Buy, Right to Buy or Shared Equity mortgage online.

We’ll talk you through the process and arrange a phone appointment with a qualified mortgage adviser.

Eligibility criteria

NatWest Private is available to all customers with a sole income of at least £100,000 paid into their NatWest account, or minimum outstanding mortgage borrowings with us of £300,000, or savings and investments of at least £100,000 held with us.
