The value of investments and any income from them can fall as well as rise, and you may not get back the full amount you invest. Investments should be held for the medium to long term, typically for at least 5 years or more.

Investment Advice

Our Face to Face Advice Service from Wealth Managers in the Private Client Advice team is available if you who want investment advice and you:

  • Can invest a minimum of £250,000 or more from deposit based capital.  In addition will need to hold a minimum of £360,000 in deposit based capital overall.
  • Want to top up an existing investment and don’t require advice can contact Specialist Banking Client Services directly on 0345 300 3991.  If you require advice and are looking to top up by at least £250,000, you can meet a Wealth Manager in the Private Client Advice team. If you hold a legacy Standard Life Wealth DFM investment, this can only be topped up via a Wealth Manager.   
Protection Advice

For advice on Protection (Life/Critical Illness/Income Protection), this is available from Wealth Managers in the Private Client Advice team where you want protection advice and you:

  • Hold Assets of over £1M (not including Main residence or any capital held in Pension funds) or have income of over £500k p.a.

The Private Client Advice wealth manager team offer a tailored advice service to Premier Banking customers covering the whole of the United Kingdom.

The advice and any recommendations will be restricted to the investment and protection products on the panel of products available to the Wealth Manager.  The protection products are provided by a panel of insurers.  Details of the protection products are available on request.  Fees apply with our Face to Face advice service.

Our Private Client wealth managers team go through regular training and development programs, so you know they're giving you professional advice you can trust.

They're trained to give you personalised guidance and make recommendations based on your individual situation.

The Private Client wealth managers will advise and make a tailored recommendation for you after they have assessed your needs.


Types of advice

Face to Face investment advice service is available if you who want investment advice and you:

Face to Face protection advice service is available from Private Client wealth managers where you want protection advice (Life/Critical Illness/Income Protection) and you:

  • Hold Assets of over £1M (Not including Main residence or any capital held in Pension funds) or have income of over £500k p.a.
