Payment improvements

There are now more reasons than ever to make payments using your mobile app.

 

  • For new payments under £250, you can now save the details without the need for a card-reader.
  • Never forget to make a payment again. You can now set one up to leave you account at a later date (up to 4 months).
  • You can now remove old payment details that you no longer need.

See all your business accounts in one place

All your business accounts can now be accessed through your app!

 

If you are a business customer with more than one business account you can now manage them all from the app using your existing log in details. Additional business accounts can be added through the ‘My Profile’ section in your mobile app.

Get all the help you need direct from your app.

 

Don’t recognise a transaction on your account or want to know how to make an international payment? Message us by simply selecting ‘Help’ then ‘Message us’. Remember you can message us 24/7 and we’ll send you a text to let you know when to log back in to see the reply.

iPhone X - Face ID

Log in to your app via Face ID.

 

Lucky enough to already have the iPhone X? You can use your iPhone X to log into your mobile app using Face ID.

Credit card improvements

Manage your Credit Card PIN.

 

We have made it even easier to manage your credit card through your app on Android devices.

 

You can now and unblock your PIN through the app and get PIN reminders posted out to you.

Need a loan but your is branch closed. No problem.

 

Apply and open pre approved products through the app, if eligible on Android devices.

App notifications

You can choose to receive helpful notifications on your iPhone. These notifications will help you to make the most of your app and stay on top of your finances.

Introducing 'My profile'

‘My profile’ is a new area in the app where you can now easily update your details, settings and your notifications.

 

To view your profile tap the icon on the top right of your accounts home screen on your iPhone when you log in.

Download the app on selected international mobile numbers

If you have not been able to download the app because you’ve got an international mobile number,  now you can.

 

You can now download and use our app on the following international mobile numbers on your iPhone.

 

These include:

 

Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Malta, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Send international payments straight from your app!

Do you need to send money abroad?

 

You can now send international payments with your mobile app in a few simple steps, without having to login to Online Banking or visit a branch:

 

  • Tap 'International payments' on your Account Summary screen
  • Choose an existing payee from your list
  • Enter an amount, select delivery payment speed and allocate fees
  • Check the details and when you're happy, confirm the payment

Payments must be made on Online Banking before you can pay through our app.

New look registration

Registering for the first time or re-registering for the app if you’ve forgotten your details is now even easier on your iPhone.

 

  • We’ve added new guidance to make it easier to find the details you’ll need to access our app. Should you need assistance when registering or re-registering our webchat team are here to help.

Registering for the app using an Android phone just got even easier.

 

  • When registering for the app you can now automatically add the activation code sent to you by text without having to leave the app, making it even quicker to get started.

Personalised greeting

We want you to get the best experience from your app so we have now included personalised greetings.

 

  • You will now receive a personalised greeting each time you log in
  • Name not showing correctly? Update it in 'settings'

New look help and support section

We have moved our 'Need Help' section to the bottom of your mobile app screen.

We want it to be easy for you to get information and contact us when you need to.

Here you will find:

 

  • Your 10 digit customer number that you need for logging in to Online Banking or when you ring us
  • Our frequently asked questions and the chance for you to ask us something else
  • Show me how to' demos that explain how to use our mobile app services like Get Cash
  • 'Near Me' helps you find the nearest branch or cash machine
  • Our Security Centre, for tips on stay safe when banking digitally
