You're applying for a First Saver account

  

Step 1. Important information before you apply

 

Are you opening a First Saver in trust on behalf of a child?

You'll need to be 18 or over to open an account for a child under 16.

 

Enter your details in the application first, then complete the child's, each section will be clearly marked with Parent/Guardian or Child. After you've completed your application, we'll let you know of any ID documents we might need to open your account.

 

Enter your mobile number and email address, and we should be able to confirm your ID online if you're an existing customer. We'll email you letting you know how.

Aged 7 to 15 and opening a First Saver in your own name?

Complete the application with your personal details. You'll need to get your parent or guardian's approval before you submit your application.

 

After you've completed your application, we'll send you a letter in the post. We'll need you to provide a copy of an identity document in a NatWest branch or via post.

You'll need to enter your mobile number and email address to be able to identify yourself safely and quickly online if you're an existing customer. 

Step 2. Important documents to read

Please read these documents carefully as they contain all the information you need to be aware of before you open your account. If you're aged 7-15 and opening a First Saver in your own name, please make sure both you and a parent or guardian read and agree to the Terms. You should print and/or save a copy for your records.
