European travel insurance

UK and European travel insurance that covers you for up to 22 days per trip (including winter sports).

What's included?

- You as the account holder(s) are covered
- Emergency medical expenses, cancellations, baggage and more


What you need to know

- Cover for account holders only
- Pre-existing medical conditions are not covered, if you would like to extend your cover to include these, please call us. We may ask you to pay an additional premium or we may not cover your condition
- If you or your joint account holders are aged 70 or over, you must call us each year to obtain cover - £50 annual premium per person insured aged 70 or over applies

How do I make a claim?

To make a travel insurance claim call us on 0345 601 5219 (Minicom 0345 600 0512). Lines are open 9am-6pm Mon- Fri, and closed Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.

You can order your travel money online or call us on 0345 601 5219 (Minicom 0345 600 0512). Lines are open 8am-10pm Monday to Friday and 10am-8pm on Saturdays and Sundays (excl. bank holidays). Calls may be recorded.

Mobile phone insurance

Your phone is covered for loss, theft, accidental damage and if it stops working.

What's included?

- You're automatically covered but we recommend that you register your handset to make the claims process quicker
- Worldwide cover for your mobile phone against loss, theft, unauthorised calls, damage or breakdown. Please note if you're outside the UK we won’t replace your device until you return 
- Two successful claims during any 12 month period (£75 excess applies)
- Unauthorised calls following loss or theft for up to £2,500 (inc VAT) for monthly contracts and £100 (inc VAT) for pay as you go customers
- Accessories covered up to £250


What you need to know

- Devices with a screen size more than 7 inches are not covered
- Your phone is not covered if another person is using your phone (even if you have given that person permission)
- Our replacement phones are refurbished models and include a 12 month warranty


How do I make a claim?

- All claims must be reported to the insurer as soon as possible, but always within 60 days of discovering the loss or other incident
- If your phone has been lost or stolen, you must contact your network provider within 24 hours (48 hours if you're outside the UK)
- If your phone is stolen, you should inform the police and get a crime reference number as soon as reasonably possible

Ticket booking service

Book through us to receive 25% cashback on tickets for theatre, dance, opera, concert performances and more throughout the UK and Ireland.

What's included?

- Order up to six tickets through the booking service for each event, up to four bookings a year


What you need to know

- You can order more than six tickets, but you will pay full price for any additional tickets
- You can't resell your tickets and must also be attending the event
- Cashback is calculated on the full price of the ticket including fees and will be paid into your account within 30 days 
- Tickets for sporting events can only be booked online


How do I book discounted tickets?

How to use your card

You can make a booking once you receive your tastecard. Only you can make a booking with your tastecard for you and your dining party. Before booking check what offer and times are available for the participating restaurant you wish to book and remember to take your card with you.


How to order a replacement card

You can order a replacement tastecard for £15 (at your cost) by calling  0345 601 5219 (Minicom 0345 600 0512). Lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm Saturday, 10am-5pm Sunday and 10am-6pm on bank holidays, closed on Christmas Day. Calls may be recorded. Payment must be by credit or debit card. Your credit or debit card will be charged when you place the order.
