1. Activate your card

Already a NatWest customer?
If you're already a NatWest customer, there's no need to activate. You get to keep your existing card and PIN. 

If your existing card is not contactless you can request a new card, giving you a quick and simple way to make purchases up to £30.

New to NatWest?
If you're new to NatWest, we'll post your contactless Visa debit card and PIN separately within a few days of opening your account. Once your card arrives we'll explain how to activate it.

2. Setup online and mobile banking

Already a NatWest customer?
If you're an existing customer and already have online and mobile banking, your login details will remain the same. And when banking online or on your mobile, remember you are protected by our security promise.

 

New to NatWest?
If you are new to NatWest, setting up online and mobile banking is simple and easy. To get started, follow the steps below:

 

Online Banking

Setting up online banking takes a few minutes. You'll need your email address, sort code, account number and debit card to hand.

Next, to qualify for your Young Persons Coachcard, make sure your paper statements are turned off.

If you are an international student who may require bank statements for visa renewal purposes, there is a £3 cost associated with ordering statements over the phone or in branch.

Mobile App

Once you've set-up online banking, you can get the mobile app.This is the easiest way to keep an eye on your spending. On top of that, with the mobile app you can :

- withdraw money without your card using Get Cash

- pay your contacts using just their mobile number

What you get
Your Young Persons Coachcard is valid for 4 years, and you get:
1/3 off standard UK fares
10% off European fares
10% off services to selected UK festivals and events
1/3 off Scottish Citylink and Hovertravel services when booked through National Express

 

How to get your card
To be eligible for a Young Persons Coachcard, you need to:  
  Signup for online banking
 Turn off paper statements

Once you've done this, your card will arrive within 5 working days.
