Worldwide Travel Insurance

Going on holiday with your family? Your Select Platinum account includes Worldwide travel insurance that covers you for up 31 days. The policy also includes winter sports and comes with £10 million medical expenses cover

What you need to know

  • Family cover includes you, your partner and dependent children who are under 18 at the start of the journey (or up to 23 if living at home, and in full-time education or unmarried and have not entered into a civil partnership)
  • To include an additional party on your policy, or if you have a medical condition, please call 0345 609 0453 ( or Minicom number 03456 000 512) to confirm your premiums and cover
  • If anyone covered by the policy is aged 70 or over, there’s a £50 annual premium per person insured aged 70 or over
  • If you have an existing medical condition, you may have to pay an additional premium or accept that your cover may exclude certain conditions.
Mobile Phone Insurance

Your phone is covered for loss, theft, accidental damage and if it stops working.

What you should know

  • The policy covers unauthorised calls up to £2,500 (inc VAT) for monthly contracts and up to £100 (inc VAT) for pay as you go customers
  • 2 phones are covered if you have a joint account
  • The replacement value per phone is unlimited (excluding cosmetic embellishments with precious metals, stones or crystals)
  • There is a £75 excess.
UK Car Breakdown Cover

Relax in the knowledge that if your vehicle breaks down, help is just a phone call away. Green Flag will get you and your vehicle home, or to your preferred location, anywhere in the UK.

What you should know

  • Full national service - anywhere in the UK, including homecall
  • Protection for all vehicles owned by you and kept at your home address
  • Anyone driving or travelling in the vehicle owned by you is covered too
National Trust family day passes

Discover some of Britain’s treasures with two family day passes each year at a selected range of National Trust sites.

What you should know

  • Choice of over 300 places to visit
  • Each pass is valid for two adults and three children aged 5-17 (under 5’s do not count towards the three and incur no additional cost)
  • Includes car parking at a National Trust car park at no additional cost
  • Plus, get 20% off National Trust shops when you spend £20 or more at selected National Trust shops
  • You can also get an annual membership discount, call or go to membership services for details

What you should know

  • If a National Trust special event is taking place entry is still possible but the voucher does not permit access to the event itself if there is a separate charge for that event
  • You need to have your pass with you to gain access to the sites
  • Vouchers must be used within 6 months of being downloaded & photocopies will not be accepted.

2 for 1 or 50% off at thousands of restaurants UK wide.

What you should know

  • Some restaurants may exclude tastecard use on Friday or Saturday evenings, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, the whole of December and potentially other “event” type days
  • Where restaurants offer 50% off they may limit the number of people; where restaurants offer 2 for 1 this does not include side dishes or extras
  • Some restaurants require the customer to book prior to arriving at restaurants.
Travel Service
  • Up to 10% off the base price of holidays including cruises with a number of major tour operators
  • 10% discount on airport parking, UK airport lounge access, car hire, transfers, attractions and airport hotels
  • 10% discount on baggage allowance upgrades and in-flight meals on Thomas Cook Airlines

Your NatWest Select Platinum account overdraft can give you access to additional money if you ever need it (subject to eligibility) Over 18’s only.

  • Borrow up to an approved limit at any time, and increase your limit (subject to approval) or decrease it whenever you want
  • You only pay interest on what you borrow within your agreed limit
  • If you go overdrawn without having an arranged overdraft (or if you go over your agreed limit), then fees and interest may apply.

Protecting your money - FSCS Your eligible deposits with NatWest are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit protection scheme. Any deposits you hold above the £85,000 limit are unlikely to be covered.
