Step 1 - Is the Graduate account right account for you?


You need to be 18 or over, a UK resident  or an EU national, or you have permission to stay in the UK for at least 12 months.

You have not been declared bankrupt in the past 6 years.

You have graduated from a full-time course of higher education (lasting 2 or more years) within the last 3 years (see eligible courses below).

Or, you have held a Student bank account with us.

Eligibile courses for a Graduate account


In order to open a Graduate account you need to have completed one of the below eligible courses: 

  • First undergraduate course 
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Nursing training course
  • Post-graduate course (MSc, MA, Phd, etc)
  • Equivalent National Vocation Qualification levels 4 or 5 (NVQs)
