Our Graduate Account comes with an arranged interest-free overdraft to help you reduce any existing overdraft debt from your time at University.
An arranged overdraft is a limit agreed between you and the bank that allows you to spend up to your agreed limit even if there’s no money in your account. And, as this is a graduate account it's interest-free if you stay within the arranged overdraft limit.
- In your 1st year with our NatWest Graduate Account, you won't have to pay interest on arranged balances up to £2,000
- In your 2nd year the amount of overdraft you can use interest free will reduce so you will start paying interest on any amount borrowed over the 'interest free amount'. The amount you get interest free depends on when you graduated.
When did you graduate?
An overdraft is a form of debt. Try to use it only if you really need to.
Our NatWest Graduate Account overdraft is repayable on demand.
Over 18s only.
If you agreed an overdraft limit with us as a student, this will carry over to your Graduate account.
If you go overdrawn without having an arranged overdraft (or if you go over your agreed limit), then fees and interest may apply. Find out more about overdraft costs
The exact way your arranged interest-free overdraft works will depend on when you graduated.
